Volume 1: NFAK is an original hand painted handbag created as part of an ongoing series exploring memory, cultural identity, and the objects that become woven into our personal histories.

Inspired by South Asian nostalgia, music, and everyday life, the piece brings together familiar visual references that evoke a sense of home. Rather than serving as decoration alone, each painted element acts as a marker of memory, a reminder of the people, places, sounds, and rituals that shape who we are.

This work marks the beginning of the Nishan Collectible Series, an ongoing body of hand painted pieces exploring cultural memory through art, storytelling, and everyday objects. Each future volume will explore a different chapter of memory, creating a growing archive of wearable artworks designed to be collected over time.

Every piece is painted entirely by hand using professional leather acrylic paints and sealed with a protective finish for durability and longevity.
